Our teams are&nbsp;<strong>mobilized 24 hours a day<\/strong>&nbsp;to&nbsp;<strong>protect the sectors at risk<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>limit the impacts<\/strong>&nbsp;of the flood. Sand&nbsp;<strong>dikes<\/strong>&nbsp;are in place on&nbsp;<em>Rue du Bord-de-l&#8217;Eau<\/em>&nbsp;and at the dirt bridge (Baume Street) to reduce the risk of overflow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pont Rouge: closed<\/strong>&nbsp;until further notice. The&nbsp;<strong>White Bridge<\/strong>&nbsp;is&nbsp;<strong>under constant surveillance<\/strong>; restrictions could be imposed by the MTQ quickly if the level rises. In case of closure, use the&nbsp;<strong>Terry Fox Bridge<\/strong>&nbsp;(detour route). We are coordinating with Mansfield to always keep emergency services available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Forecasts indicate that the&nbsp;<strong>Ottawa River<\/strong>&nbsp;could reach a&nbsp;<strong>medium to major flood<\/strong>&nbsp;threshold. The level is currently&nbsp;<strong>108.63 m<\/strong>&nbsp;and could stabilize around&nbsp;<strong>108.75 m<\/strong>. The&nbsp;<strong>Coulonge River<\/strong>&nbsp;remains high, with a flow of about&nbsp;<strong>700 m\u00b3\/s<\/strong>&nbsp;(nearly 10\u00d7 the average flow).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Colder temperatures through Wednesday are expected to&nbsp;<strong>slow the melt<\/strong>.&nbsp;<strong>No rain is forecast<\/strong>&nbsp;this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Immediate instructions \u2014 citizens are asked to :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Remove any objects from the banks that can be washed away<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be prepared for an aggravation (access, movement, equipment)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Closely supervise\u00a0<strong>children<\/strong>\u00a0near waterways and flooded areas<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Free sand<\/strong>: Arena courtyard and at the Golden Age Club (bag filling). Filling remains the responsibility of the citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>EMERGENCY \u2014 Reduce your drinking water consumption until the end of the week to keep the treatment plant in good working order.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Respect restricted traffic zones and on-site instructions.
