To ensure a clean, safe, and respectful community for everyone, please follow the rules below when out with your pet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Cleanliness First<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Owners must immediately pick up their pet\u2019s waste, whether on sidewalks, in parks, green spaces, or on private property. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u27a1\ufe0f Please carry bags with you and dispose of waste properly and responsibly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Control and Safety<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Dogs must be kept on a leash in all public areas (maximum length: 1.85\u202fm \/ 6\u202fft). Dogs weighing more than 20\u202fkg (44\u202flb) must also wear a harness or head halter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u27a1\ufe0f Your pet must remain under your supervision at all times to prevent incidents or escapes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Mandatory Identification<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

All dogs and cats must be registered with the municipality or animal services and must wear their identification tag at all times. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udcb2 Cost: $20 per year, paid to the Outaouais SPCA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Respect for Neighbours<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Please limit excessive barking and prevent your pet from wandering onto neighbouring properties. Sterilization is strongly encouraged to help reduce overpopulation, especially among stray cats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. In Case of Non\u2011Compliance<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Failure to follow these rules may result in fines, infractions, or removal from public spaces and parks. These measures help maintain a harmonious community, protect public cleanliness, and ensure the safety of both residents and animals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
