Soucieux de l’environnement et consciencieux du respect de la « Politique québécoise de gestion des matières résiduelles », le conseil municipal, dans le cadre d’une gestion écoresponsable, a choisi d’acheminer les matières recyclables chez Tricentris à Gatineau. Il en résulte qu’après trois ans d’opération, une diminution des coûts de manutention des matières recyclables est prévue pour les citoyens de Fort-Coulonge.

Un bac de recyclage bleu sera distribué gratuitement de porte en porte aux citoyens de la municipalité de Fort-Coulonge débutant graduellement la deuxième semaine du mois de mars. Les citoyens n’auront qu’à déposer leurs matières recyclables directement dans leur bac, éliminant ainsi l’utilisation de sacs en plastique.

Chaque bac est identifié d’un numéro de série permanent qui sera attribué à chaque résidence/commerce. Advenant un déménagement, ce bac doit donc rester à cette adresse civique.

Bien noter qu’un seul bac sera remis par résidence gratuitement. Supposant qu’un deuxième bac est requis, il sera possible de s’en procurer auprès de la municipalité au coût de 90$ l’unité.

Fort-Coulonge, February 25th 2016.

Concerned about the environment and conscientious with respecting the “Quebec policy of management of residual materials”, the municipal council, within the framework of an ecoresponsible management, chose to send the recycling materials to Tricentris in Gatineau. As a result, after three years of operation, a decrease of the costs of handling the recyclable materials is planned for the citizens of Fort-Coulonge.

A blue recycling bin will be distributed free of charge from door to door to the citizens of the municipality of Fort-Coulonge beginning the second week of March. The citizens will deposit the recycling directly in the bin, thus eliminating the use of plastic bags.

Each bin is identified by a permanent serial number which will be attributed to each residence/ business. In the event of a move (relocation) ; this bin must remain at the civic address.

Please note that only one recycling bin will be handed out by residence free of charge.
Assuming an extra bin is needed it will be possible to obtain one from the municipality at the cost of 90$ each.
